How it works

Each body of work is initiated as a Writing Engagement. Through a requirements gathering interview, the deliverables are defined and agreed upon. The terms of payment for services rendered will be discussed and agreed upon, including the engagement fee, which is required prior to the commencement of work.

For Simple Editing Services, a bill will be submitted upon completion of each deliverable.

For Document Development Services, a weekly bill will be submitted for the hours spent working on the engagement’s deliverables.

In general, contact information for the company’s subject matter experts (SME) will be required in order to complete the engagement. The amount of interaction with the SMEs will vary based on the nature of the project. Simple Editing often requires far less interaction than Document Development, particularly when the doc development deliverables include system operations guides and flow diagrams.
